This Tamiya BMW Z3 was built pretty much straight from the box. Only changes were wheels taken from Fujimi's Alpina 5-series kit, exhaust pipe tips made from polished aluminum tube and seatbelts with etched metal buckles. Side mirrors had to be changed to Fujimi Porsche 911 mirrors, because I lost the original left side mirror into drain while washing the parts for painting.
The kit was painted with a mix of Tamiya royal blue and metallic blue which were coated with Tamiya gloss clear. After that the body was polished with a LMG polishing kit and Tamiya rubbing compound.
